These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Mackay Shipment Ltd., a company registered in the United Kingdom. By accessing our website and using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

1. Scope of Services
Mackay Shipment Ltd. offers international shipment services for personal belongings, including packing, customs support, insurance, and door-to-door delivery. All services are subject to individual assessment based on item type, weight, volume, destination, urgency, and applicable legal requirements.

2. Client Obligations
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding the contents, dimensions, weight, and destination of their shipment. Clients must ensure that all items are lawful and in compliance with both export and import regulations of the countries involved.

3. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited from shipment: weapons, ammunition, narcotics, counterfeit goods, live animals, biological specimens, radioactive materials, and any item forbidden by applicable international or local laws.

4. Limitation of Liability
Mackay Shipment Ltd. shall not be held liable for delays or losses caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, strikes, political unrest), or inaccurate information provided by the client. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service, unless otherwise covered by insurance.

5. Customs Duties and Fees
Clients are solely responsible for any import duties, VAT, local taxes, or customs-related charges incurred in the destination country, unless otherwise stated in writing.

6. Payments
All services must be paid for in advance through our secure payment gateway (Stripe). No shipments will be processed without confirmed payment. Refunds, where applicable, are subject to our separate Refund Policy, available on our website.

7. High-Value and Restricted Shipments
Shipments involving jewelry, fine art, antiques, or other high-value goods are subject to mandatory insurance, special packaging, and prior approval. Custom handling and tracking fees may apply.

8. Amendments to Terms
Mackay Shipment Ltd. reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our website. Continued use of services following any changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Parties agree to seek amicable resolution before initiating legal action.
